The Tomball German Heritage Festival returns June 4-6 for its 20th anniversary with live music, kid-friendly activities and nearly 200 street vendors.
The festival showcases the city’s German heritage with various events and shows, such as the GOAT Beard competition, where judges search for the “best beard ever” in one of the many family events scheduled for the weekend.
Craig Bogner, general manager of the Tomball German Heritage Festival, said he expects a crowd at the three-day festival after last year’s canceled festivals, which were devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic in March and last December.
“Everyone is ready to go out and enjoy the summer,” Bogner said on June 2. “The city has supported the German festival for 20 years, and we want to give back as much as possible.”
