Nauvoo gears up for German Heritage Celebration | Journal-Pilot

On Friday, October 28, Nauvoo will celebrate its first-ever annual celebration of German heritage as the Oktoberfest atmosphere fills the city. Nauvoo Knights of Columbus Council #1853 and the Nauvoo Historical Society will host Oktoberfest at the new Knights of Columbus Hall at 1275 Mulholland Street from 6-9 p.m. Each Oktoberfest features the following mix of music, food and beer. The venue includes a talk, “How to Make Your Own Home Beer”, followed by the German Polka Band, Heidelberg, performing from 7-9pm.
